Alþjóðatengsl

Hér eru upplýsingar um helstu alþjóðlegu samstarfsnet á sviði fötlunarfræða.

Nordic network on Disability Research (NNDR) https://nndr.org/ is a multidisciplinary network of disability researchers interested in cultural, societal and environmental dimensions of disability and marginalization. The purpose of NNDR is to advance research and development in the field of disability. NNDR provides a forum for researchers, particularly from the Nordic countries, to meet, present and discuss their research, as well as encouraging Nordic and international exchange and collaboration. NNDR hosts conferences every other year (on odd years) which rotate between the five Nordic countries.

UK Disability Studies Conference https://disability-studies.leeds.ac.uk/conference/

The UK disability studies network hosts conferences every other year (on even years) located at the University of Leeds. They invites presentations, collective discussions and debates which engage with, challenge and provoke the principles and practice of Disability Studies - from both within or beyond the discipline. We particularly encourage submissions that privilege the voices of those who have been marginalised and on topics that have hitherto not been the focus of Disability Studies activity.

Tímaritum á sviði fötlunarfræða hefur fjölgað mjög á umliðnum árum. Þau tímarit sem hér eru talin birta rannsóknir í fötlunarfræði, meðal annars með áherslu á menningu, sögu, stefnumótun, mannréttindi, og þverfræðilega nálgun í fötlunarrannsóknum.

The number and variety of disability studies journals has increased significantly over the past couple of decades. Besides publishing interdisciplinary approaches to disability research these cover disability studies, disability history, cultural aspects, policy, rights and social justice.
