Námskeiðið er:
- 6 vikna netnámskeið 3.ágúst - 7. september
- þriggja daga vinnustofa 10.-12. október á stað (mætingaskylda)
- Verkefnavinna (bara fyrir ECTS nemendur)
Námskeiðið er ætlað fólki sem starfar með foreldrum. Ekki er gerð krafa um ákveðna menntun ef umsækjandi tekur námið einingalaust.
Ef umsækjandi vill taka námskeiðið einingabært (5 ECTS) þarf hann að hafa lokið fullgildri bakkalárgráðu eða vera nemandi í HÍ.
Skráningargjald er 55.000 krónur

Notkun myndbanda og kennsluaðferða ígrundaðra samræðna í foeldrasamstarfi og foreldrafræðslu
Ígrundaðar samræður í foreldrafræðslu (RDPED) er aðferð sem byggir á rannsóknum og stuðlar að virkri þátttöku foreldra, hvort sem er í hópfræðslu eða einstaklingsráðgjöf.
Markmið RDPED er að stuðla að ígrundun foreldra og efla hæfni þeirra í að taka ólík sjónarmið inn í myndina. Þá hefur RDPED einnig það markmið að styrkja samband og tengsl foreldris og barns.
RDPED byggir á þeirri hugmynd að uppeldi og foreldrahlutverkið sé þroska- og vaxtarferli þar sem þekking ein og sér sé ekki nóg heldur þurfa foreldrar að skoða eigin viðhorf, aðferðir og reynslu til þess að styrkja tengslin og samband sitt við barnið.
Þetta 5 eininga námskeið á að veita góða þjálfun í notkun ígrundaðra samræðna í foreldrasamstarfi og foreldrafræðslu.

The course is:

This course is for those who work with parents. There are no education requirements if an applicant wants to take the course without credits.
If an applicant wants to take the course for credits (5 ECTS), the requirement is a valid Bachelor´s degree or being a student at the University of Iceland.
Registration fee is 55.000 ISK.
The Reflective Dialogue Parent Education Design (RDPED) is a research-based approach to engaging parents in group education and individual consultation, which is designed to develop parents' reflective capacity, improve perspective-taking skills, and strengthen parent-child relationships.
The RDPED is grounded in a theoretical framework of parenting as a developmental growth process requiring deeper processes and experiences beyond surface-level exposure to information and skill training to strengthen parent-child relationships.
This 5-credit RDPED course provides the most comprehensive training available for using a Reflective Dialogue approach in parent education and family engagement.

Heather Cline, PhD
Is the owner of Hourglass Perspectives, a professional development company created to provide the training, curriculum, and community for using a Reflective Dialogue approach to promoting self-directed change in conceptual thinking and behavior. Dr. Cline manages the Reflective Dialogue Parent Education Design (RDPED), a research-based approach to promoting parent learning and development originally developed and field tested at the University of Minnesota.
Heather is a former lecturer of the University of Minnesota’s parent and family education program where she dedicated eight years to preparing graduate students and pre-service licensed teachers in the areas of Parent Learning and Development, Parent-Child Interaction, and Teaching and Learning in Parent Education. Her early career included working as a parent educator with parents of infants and toddlers and providing intervention-based services to children ages three through eight in both individual and group-based contexts.
Heather is mama to one son, CJ, who is just finishing his first year of school. She has been living in Minnesota with her husband and 6-year-old, but they are taking on a new adventure by relocating half-way across the country to be closer to the Ocean in South Carolina.
