Join us for "Lunch & Learn with Carol Barriuso" from the University of Barcelona.
- Bring your lunch and listen to a short presentation on recent research related to the Evolution of the communicative competence of primary school learners based on the actions undertaken within the framework of an eTwinning project
- Carol Barriuso is an English teacher, teacher trainer, and EdTech educator passionate about fostering innovative and collaborative learning. As an eTwinning Ambassadress and Moderator, she helps like-minded teachers connect and engage in meaningful cross-border activities and projects. With a MasterRes in eLearning and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, she has dedicated their career to advancing technology and language education. Currently pursuing a PhD in Cognitive Science and Language, her research focuses on language learning through the eTwinning platform, exploring how collaboration and technology can transform education.

EVENT 2:
Join us for "eTwinning & European COIL projects" with Dr. Edward A. Lockhart from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
- Come learn more about a variety of ongoing eTwinning and COIL projects related to teacher education and language teaching and learning. Who knows, maybe you'll even hear about a project you'd like to collaborate on? After a review of projects, there will be time to discuss, ask questions, and establish ties if you'd like to be more involved.
- Edward Lockhart is an experienced classroom and online educator with extensive experience coupling naturalistic language learning and technological innovation to enhance the holistic learning experience. He will discuss both eTwinning and COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) projects. Attached is a list of project titles and short descriptions.
